D&B's unique worldwide resources and its broad range of information support the UPIK® identification system in providing access to a standardized and trusted database for business decisions at any time.
How does the UPIK® process of setting up a new D-U-N-SŪ Number work?
Once you have checked and found out that no active D-U-N-SŪ Number is available for your company, send the completed form to the relevant D&B Partner worldwide out of UPIK®.
By using the worldwide network and its broad range of information, D&B is able to verify and, if necessary, update the data submitted related to the new D-U-N-SŪ Number request.
Confirmed new numbers are included in the worldwide D&B database. The result is passed on to UPIK® and you will then be informed by UPIK®.
Why does it take up to 30 working days to process the setting up of a new D-U-N-SŪ Number?
D-U-N-SŪ Numbers are thoroughly checked by the local D&B partner. Since several tens of thousands of new numbers or changes have to be checked by D&B every day, it may take this long to process an eUpdate.
