What is an eUpdate?

eUpdate is a cost-free online service that allows you to synchronize the stored UPIKŪ master data for your company with the D&B database. Data can also be updated with the service as required.

How do you benefit from an eUpdate?

With eUpdate you can make sure that your data is uniform and correct within UPIKŪ. Your business partners also update their own data. This ensures that all UPIKŪ users have continuous access to a sound, current, and international source of information for the updating of master data – free of charge and without technical expenditure.

Who can perform eUpdates?

Master data can only be updated by the company to which the data pertains.

How is an eUpdate performed?

You can access your UPIKŪ data set by entering your D&B D-U-N-SŪ Number. If you do not know your D&B D-U-N-SŪ Number, you can search for your data in the global D&B database using UPIKŪ Search.

Three Steps to Your eUpdate:

1. Enter your D&B D-U-N-SŪ Number to display the master data currently stored by UPIKŪ.
2. Correct any information which is incorrect and forward your eUpdate to D&B Germany.
3. Your eUpdate will be reviewed by D&B. You will receive notification within 30 working days:

         −  To confirm that your changes are effective; or
         −  To explain why your changes could not be accepted.
